The Center for Dispute Solutions, Inc. (CDSI), a not-for-profit agency founded in 1998, has developed a specialized program that assists families in transition with collaborative dispute resolution, development of parenting plans and parent education.

The program combines parent education, support services and mediation to assist parents in cooperatively creating parenting plans for their children. Parents work together to develop their own solution to their problems through empowerment and education. Often times, when parents go their separate ways, they unwittingly place their children in the middle of their conflict. CDSI helps parents realize, whether living together or not, that they are still responsible for the emotional, physical and financial needs of their children.

The CDSI program is cost effective and efficient for families, as well as the community. CDSI subscribes to a strict set of standards, training, policies, procedures and guidelines for its parent education curriculum, faculty and mediators.
